Only information on those members of the Beuchat family who form the so called Australian branch is provided here.

The origin of this branch of the family can be traced to 1967. In that year, Michel Beuchat arrived in Australia following his emigration from Switzerland and a few years later, in 1970, married Anne Sparks . The couple finally settled in Melbourne in 1983 after having lived for two years in Papua New Guinea , three years in Geneva (Switzerland ) and seven years in the North-West region of Western Australia . Four sons, born over a period of 15 years, have resulted from this union.
